Travel
from Flagg Ranch past West Thumb. Climb over Craig Pass where you will
have fantastic riding through tall pine forests and cross the continental
divide twice. Travel on along frozen Yellowstone Lake. You will see a
number of solitary bison, hunting coyotes, and otter playing on the snowy
banks of the Yellowstone River. Snow-covered rolling hills blend into
valleys making the landscape look like fluffy pillows along this 43 mile
run. The day ends when we reach Pahaska Teepee about 5PM. We traveled 70+ miles. The first order of business is to get gas for your snowmobile and check into the hotel.
