Flagg Ranch to Pahaska Teepee

Start the Day On Monday morning, we'll have breakfast about 7 AM and then load up for the trip to Pahaska Teepee. That means that you must have your snowmobile, be packed, suited up, and at the rally point by 8:15.
Travel Travel from Flagg Ranch past West Thumb. Climb over Craig Pass where you will have fantastic riding through tall pine forests and cross the continental divide twice. Travel on along frozen Yellowstone Lake. You will see a number of solitary bison, hunting coyotes, and otter playing on the snowy banks of the Yellowstone River. Snow-covered rolling hills blend into valleys making the landscape look like fluffy pillows along this 43 mile run.
Lunch Lunch today is questionable. You should plan on bringing something for yourself in case there is no food on this leg of the trip.
Travel This is our first trip out the east gate, so all I can tell you is what's on the map. We'll pass Fishing Bridge on our 27 mile journey to the East gate.
End the Day

The day ends when we reach Pahaska Teepee about 5PM. We traveled 70+ miles. The first order of business is to get gas for your snowmobile and check into the hotel.

Dinner We'll meet for dinner at 7PM.
Optional Activity We haven't been here, so who knows!!

Tuesday - Pahaska Teepee to Mammoth.
